‘Incub8r’ is a digital amalgamate cyanotype, where alchemical runes, ethereal tubes and wires are produced to power a chromatic incubation box. Within the box lies my ideal of transness, a genetically modified self-portrait with augmented legs, wings and ambiguous sexual organs. It is the culmination of my desire and a reflection on the boundless nature of a transgendered body, through the lens of a character creation screen in a fantasy video game.
